GOING THROUGH HELL

“If you are going through hell, keep going.”  Winston Churchill

Ever since childhood, the idea of a “hell” was a place such as a fiery inferno. I was driving today and reached the Mojave desert. While there was no fire per se, it was definitely an inferno. The outside temperature showed that it was 105 degrees and I was very grateful for air conditioning. Interestingly, a sign on the roadway advised us that we should turn off our A/C for the current stretch of roadway to prevent the car from overheating. I chose to keep mine on and accept the consequences if I did overheat. Fortunately, that did not happen to me but I passed a lot of cars along the way that sat on the side of the roadway with their hoods open. It was obviously a very real thing.

Dear Angels, thank you for keeping me safe as I ventured through the desert today. I am very aware of your presence as I drive through all kinds of road conditions. I fully trust that this journey was given to me and that all my needs are met as I go along.

Dear Ones, you will never be given a mission that will be more than you can endure. Sometimes things are more difficult but only because your human brain is always comparing. If there was nothing to compare to the experience of driving through the extreme heat of the desert, you would not give it so much importance or think that you could not survive it. You are only as limited as you think you are. If your brain tells you that you cannot do something, it is much like the warning sign on the highway. It looks at the worst possible outcome without a suggestion that everything will be okay. When you then approach a challenge or a “fire” of life, you can choose to go to the possibility of not surviving the experience, or you can trust that you are indeed protected and relax into that belief. Change is a constant in your life and how you handle each situation is how you will come to deal with each subsequent challenge. We encourage you to leave fear off the menu of what you choose from. Choose only love. Be only love. You’ve got this!

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste, y’all.

Today, I promise to always know that I am protected and will relax into that thought at all times and in all conditions.
