STRONGER YET

A roaring lion in a grassy field with blurred green trees in the background. Its mane is golden-brown, conveying a fierce, wild mood.

“The things that scare you only make you better and stronger.”  —Octavia Spencer

In our journey of life, fear often appears as an unwelcome guest, casting long shadows over our paths, whispering doubts into our ears. Yet, what if I told you that these very things that scare you are not obstacles but opportunities? That the things that scare you only make you better and stronger? It sounds so cliché since we hear it so much and that can dilute the impact of the message. Many times Quan Yin brings a message which says that fear is not merely an emotion to be shunned; it is a profound teacher. Each time we confront something that frightens us, we stand at the precipice of personal growth. Think of fear like the resistance you feel when you lift weights; it's what forces your muscles to grow stronger. Similarly, when we face our fears, we are exercising our spiritual and emotional muscles.

Dear Angels, while it is easier to stay small it does not help us grow. It is through the struggles of our experiences that we understand more deeply and gain more perspective. Please help us understand how to accept instead of resisting.

Dear Ones, the story told in the scriptures of David shared that although he was young and seemingly outmatched, he faced his giant not with fear but with faith. His victory wasn't just over Goliath; it was over his own fears, teaching that facing your giants can lead to monumental growth in courage, faith, and resilience. Fear has a transformative power. It's like raw ore that, when subjected to the heat of experience, can be turned into gold. Every fear you face teaches you something valuable. The more you confront what you are afraid of, the braver you become. Courage isn't the absence of fear but the mastery of it. Facing your fears often leads you to understand and connect with others who share similar struggles, fostering deeper compassion and unity. Each encounter with fear adds to our life’s wisdom, teaching you more about yourself, your limits, and your potential. Like a tree bending in the storm, facing fears teaches you to bend without breaking, to recover and grow stronger with each trial.

Angels Whisper: Remember, the things that scare you are not your enemies but your allies in disguise. They are the chisel that sculpts your character, the fire that tempers your spirit, and the teacher that leads you to your highest self. So, when fear knocks at your door, invite it in, for it comes bearing gifts of strength, wisdom, and courage. Embrace the shadows, and let them lead you to the light of your own potential.

Today, I promise to embrace my shadow self and learn the lesson it brings.
