Making Memories
“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.” ~ Dr. Seuss
Every moment is an opportunity to make a memory. When we allow, the shared joy becomes a blessed time that we can revisit over and over. My poem reflects the thought of making memories:
Every smile is a sonata, sung without a sound,
A melody of joy, where human warmth is found.
The prism in a teardrop, falling with a sigh,
In every shared sorrow, we find the reasons why.
Every star is a story told by cosmic light,
Narrating tales of time, guiding us through the night.
In every grain of sand, a journey's tale untold,
Miracles abound, waiting to unfold.
Every breath is a miracle, each blink of our eyes,
A testament to life under the vast skies.
So, live every moment with a heart as pure as gold,
For each fragment of time is a miracle to behold.
Dear Angels, so often we fly through our days without taking time to slow down and enjoy whatever we are doing. Whether alone or with others, we can capture the essence of each beautiful moment and store it where we can revisit it later.
Dear Ones, wholehearted humbleness in your interactions with others is what will create the beautiful memorable moments. Don’t try to make it happen, simply allow it to unfold. Be genuine as you sit with others. Look them in the eyes because those are the window to the soul. You can communicate this way without words. When you let the moment happen with ease and grace, the snapshot of it will imprint in your mind to be called up whenever you need to go back to that place with your loved one. These memories will go with you beyond your lifetime on earth. They are precious reminders of a life well lived and well loved.
