Lessons From Big Bear

Don’t just say what you say, live what you say!” Unknown

As I was driving down Big Bear mountain this morning I had a lot of time to think. It actually helped me get down the 8805 foot mountain with all its twists and curves. I am not particularly fond of driving down mountains and my friend Cuca sent me off with a warning about staying off the brakes (yeah right, I thought). As I was traveling behind another vehicle and they stayed on the brakes I understood what she meant and several times had to pull over so that I wasn’t having to apply the brake every time they did. Many times in life we learn from other people’s experiences. She told me that her hard lesson was in burning out her brakes and that was why she was being so adamant about it. It’s a big mountain and I see how easily this could happen. As I was thinking about what she shared I also thought about how often we all teach each other by living our lives as a result of learning from our experiences. I respect those who have been shaped by the fires of life and now share how they rose about the ashes. We have so many options as we live our lives; we can learn and grow from the challenges or we can rebel and fight against the lesson. Either way, we show others the outcome of those choices in how we are walking our talk – striding in confidence or crouching in fear.

Dear Angels, in being human we face so many decisions every day. How can we do this with more ease and grace so that life’s challenges make us stronger?

Dear Ones, as you go through your life experiences, please understand that this is what you came here for. You chose the lessons. There is nothing outside of you that is creating a lesson plan for your life. When you connect with your higher self, your I AM presence, you understand more about being in the flow of whatever you are presented with instead of deeming it something happening to you. You have inside of you all that is needed to endure life’s challenges and rise up higher as a result. The mentality that life can beat you down will only create a resistance to fulfilling your purpose for being here. Avoid the stream of thoughts of lack and victimhood. You are not victims and you certainly do not lack resources to survive and thrive. As you work on changing these thought processes and begin the journey of living as the powerful being that you are, you will find yourself teaching and inspiring others. Rise up, Dear Ones, to be all that you came here to be.

Dear Angels, I think the mountaintop lessons are just what I needed and thank you for your confirmation of this. I love you. Namaste y’all.
