INNER VOICE TUNE UP

“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.”  Steve Jobs

I have left the peace and serenity of the magical farmhouse as I inch my way toward my next adventure. Driving through this amazing state of Pennsylvania, I had plenty of time to reflect on recent experiences, especially being in a world that was like a throwback to a simpler time. This world we live in can be loud and constantly full of opinions, expectations, and unsolicited advice, and it's easy to feel as though our inner voice has been silenced. The noise can be deafening—what others think you should do, who you should be, how you should show up in the world. But should is not a song of the soul. It's a cage, not a calling. Every time you ignore your intuition, you dim your own light just a little. But every time you listen to your inner guidance—even when it doesn’t make sense to the world—you take one step closer to peace, to truth, to home. It is important to remember that we were not born to blend in with the noise. We came here to sing our own note in the symphony of life. And the harmony of the Universe depends on each soul playing its part, true and free, much like the cicadas that sing so loudly in these hills. Today, I took a sacred pause as my friend Susanne and I sat in a small chapel in silence at the National Center for Padre Pio near where she lives. I breathed in the serenity in the room, letting each breath connect me more deeply. I focused first on my own state of being, reflecting and honoring what I was feeling, letting go of what was not needed including some old beliefs that were popping up. I let them fall away like autumn leaves. Soon, my inner voice was being heard as I prayed for peace in the world and cried for all those who struggle with their own inner connection to a peace that passes all understanding. As I then stood and stared into the eyes of the beloved saint, depicted in a statue at the back of the chapel, I could feel my own peace and knew that my voice had been heard. I then lit a candle with confidence that prayers for my loved ones were being answered.

Dear Angels, how can we stay attuned to our inner voice when the world feels so loud and demanding? How do we know that our prayers are more than mere words or thoughts that are mere noise blending in with the loudness in the world?

Dear Ones, your inner voice is like a candle in a dark room—it may be small, but its light is unwavering. The world will always try to hand you scripts, costumes, and stages not meant for your soul’s performance. But you are not here to play someone else’s role. You are here to remember your divinity, to rise in your truth, and to walk the path of your unique design. To stay attuned, you must create moments of stillness. Return often to your breath. Let nature become your sanctuary. Journal your thoughts and dreams. Meditate and ask—not for answers from the world, but from your Higher Self, the part of you that already knows. Your angels speak in synchronicities, in gentle nudges, in feelings that glow warm in your chest. When the outside world grows noisy, turn inward. The soul does not need to raise its voice; it only asks that you listen. You are never without guidance. You are never without light. Keep choosing you. Keep choosing truth.

Angels Whisper: Your voice matters. Your truth is sacred. The more you honor it, the more your life will reflect peace.

Today, I promise to keep expressing what my inner voice wants to say.
