Can Your Light Shine Through The Dark

When the night falls and colors fade into the black of night, the grass is still green and the rose is still red. Why then do we think the darkness can hide our true beautiful self? These words came to me tonight as I sat in my car after I had watched a magnificent sunset here in Montana. The green rolling hills were no longer bright but looked rather dull as night fell.
Dear Angels, I know that as I look out at those same hills I looked at an hour ago which were vibrantly green and now look black, the reality is that they are still green no matter what my eyes show me. When I look at a fellow human who is exhibiting hurtful dark behavior, I know that underneath that there is a being made of pure light. We all have within us the ability to let our light be dimmed if we so choose. It doesn’t mean that the light is no longer there. It just appears to be different than it truly is.
Dear Ones, the human experience cannot be defined by only what your physical eyes show you. When you release the filters that are showing you anger, hurt, sadness, you will get to the real being that resides inside that human vessel. Then, when you dare to look even further, you will recognize that light inside of the one you are observing and you will see yourself there. It is not hard, Dear Ones. It is merely a choice to see or to judge.
