Yes, Virginia, There Is A God

This thing called “life” is so precious. I invite you to just pause for one of your precious moments and reflect on yours. What is it like being you? My friend Sheri Myers interviewed me today and invited me to talk about my life, beginning at the beginning and coming to the present me. My own life has been a series of ups and downs, good times and bad, sorrow and happiness and if I only looked at the events, I would wonder what the purpose was. Without knowing that there is a higher self, spirit guides, and God at the center of it all, I would certainly say that it was a 3-ring circus that served up good entertainment - but what’s the point? I have spoken to people with that attitude minus the God part. It is not my job to convince anyone of the existence of God. God needs no defending. In my life, however, all the evidence along with the inner knowingness has brought me to not only acceptance but awe and a love so deep that it is neverending.
Dear Angels, when I was a child I learned a scripture that said, “God is love.” I have never forgotten that or the fact that it is true. Of course, our human minds twist and confuse that word and therefore our concept of God sometimes gets skewed. Add to this the fact that at the same time I learned that God is love I was also taught that God was a judge, jury and executioner. So, my little brain was really confused. Fast forward all these years that I have been on earth to the place I am in today and I no longer listen to the brain. I listen now with an open full heart and know without a doubt that the God I pray to, love without measure, and serve is love.
Dear Ones, coming to terms with being a spiritual being is quite exciting as you realize that the only thing that is real is love. As you try with your thinking to figure things out, you only become frustrated or angry and many give up entirely. We encourage you to stop trying to make it make sense. If you would just sit quietly with yourself only and feel, you would connect in with that beautiful core of who you are. Open up to love – real unconditional, nonjudgmental love that just wants you to come home. When you do, you will find a world of support and downloads of information that will confirm who and what you are. The illusion of being separate will fade as you encounter the Oneness of all that is. We know you struggle as you deal with all the issues of daily life and trying to integrate how to fit that in with the challenge of seeing beyond the separation. Those fires you go through really do sting and knock you backwards. The more you stand in your Divine authority, you will not succumb to the harshness of the challenges. You will handle them with ease and grace in the knowingness of who you are. The Creator, who you can call by any name you wish, wants only to love you. When you take that love and send it forth to others, you are honoring yourself as a spark of the Divine as well as your purpose for being on Earth at such a time as this.
