What Is Your Name

Many of you know that I come from a large family. Trying to name all my siblings is like listening to roll call in a classroom, and not everyone is present and accounted for either! I went through elementary school and graduated high school spelling my name the way I was taught to spell it. The next year I went to apply for a marriage license and was told I had to have a copy of my birth certificate. Okay, no problem, certificate ordered. When I received the document I was in for a big surprise – the name I had used all those years in school and for medical purposes was not what was on my birth certificate. All of us were born at home with a midwife delivering us. I happened to come into the world very early on an August morning so I am sure everyone was tired. The spelling of my first name was not the spelling on all my legal documents, both school and medical. It was spelled the way it sounded, not the formal spelling. Wow, I thought, I’m not who I think I am!
Dear Angels, we get so attached to our identities, names, station in life, roles while on earth. However, that is not our true identity at all. What happened to me is a true example of this. The name on the certificate could have been Bozo and it wouldn’t matter. That is just a representation of the human part of this experience. Do we have an equivalent in the spirit realm – a name that we are called by to refer to our spirit being?
Dear Ones, it may surprise you to learn that indeed you do have a special name for the being that encompasses all of you in all lifetimes lived. When you communicate with your higher self, you are indeed talking to that very essence. Each incarnation is only a piece that makes up that whole being, just as each drop of water makes up the entire ocean. And, Dear Ones, each of your higher selves makes up the whole being of the oneness of all that is. Just as that drop of water enters the ocean and becomes the ocean itself, inseparable once it does so, this is how your essence is as it merges in with the oneness. It is inseparable. Therefore, Dear Ones, if you are having difficulty with another being then please remember this lesson. That being who has a name in their incarnation merges with their higher self in all their incarnations and that being merges with the oneness just the same as you do. In that merged state, there is no difference in you and this being that you are having difficulty with. You are one and the same in that ocean. Nothing exists that makes you stand out from one another. We know this is not easy for the human mind to grasp. All your life you identify as a certain being, separate from all the rest of the humans. We are encouraging you to be open to the possibility that you are not separate at all, that you are just the same as that one sitting next to you and the one across the planet from you. You are the same as the one you detest so much in the world. You are the same as the beloved saints and masters you look up to. We will leave you with this message now for you to dwell on the breadth and the depth of it. Some of you will dismiss it and be unable to comprehend it. Others among you will open up to its immense reality and seek to explore it more. We will certainly be doing that with you. Sit in your quiet time with your higher self, become intimate with who you truly are and feel the vastness of the ocean of oneness as you do so.
