The Space Between Thoughts

"Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths."— Etty Hillesum

How do you get quiet when your mind is racing? How do you slow down enough to pause and find that space between thoughts? When everything starts to look the same and yet different at the same time, what is real? It is hard sometimes to just allow yourself to be and not allow the thoughts in.

Dear Angels, it is in the moments of letting go that we arrive where we need to be. As humans, we live in a world where thinking is what we are “supposed” to do. Pushing through, hustling, and making it happen are encouraged and it is easy to get into the habit of overthinking things.

Dear Ones, being mindful is all about exercising your attention and awareness. It's the art of being present and fully engaged in the current moment without judgment. It is allowing everything that comes into your awareness to be okay with being there as you have no feeling about it one way or another. It is in the state of nonjudgment that you find out your true nature, which is love. Hold that love as sacred always.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to look for that space between thoughts and stay in the beingness of existence.
