Playtime

“Ask to know what you are born to do. Follow the compass of joy.” Barbara Marx Hubbard

Joy sometimes can be so elusive. We can get so wrapped up in daily chores, our “have-tos” of life that we forget to take time to play. I’m visiting with a friend, Monserrat, and sleeping in her 5-year-old’s bedroom. Looking around, there is Mickey Mouse in the window. Buzz Lightyear is on the wall and I have a dragon in the bed. One of the first things that happened with this wee one after I got here was a game of hide-and-seek. I caught a movement out of the corner of my eye. At first I thought it might be an animal playing shy but it kept popping up and then disappearing. The curiouser I got, the more he showed himself to me. Then I started receiving toys. He wanted me to get to know his cars and trucks but still no formal hello. He just accepted me being in his home and wanted to share his stuff with me. Names were not that important, sharing was. What if we could do that with each other? As I sat more with his mom, I saw where his giving nature came from. Here, Teri, this crystal is for you. Here’s a present I have and want to give you. That’s how the night went and I will be leaving this beautiful home with new crystal babies, one of which I assured her will travel to Ireland with me! The others will go into my mesa bag to be used in healings.

Dear Angels, how can we become more child-like and accepting of each other without going into competition and comparison?

Dear Ones, we are so glad you asked this question! Who told you that your time on earth had to be hard? Did you enter your life experience with a to-do list? We encourage you to examine your soul contract if you think this is the case! Many times you will receive a message from us that is light-hearted and elicits a giggle or at least a smile. We love to have fun. We stay on the higher vibration of positive uplifting energy. On that realm it is easier to guide you. Dear Ones, you can access your inner guidance and connect in with your spirit being when you choose to be in that frequency. Playing with toys is not just for kids. Who told you to put your toys away at a certain age? You are taught at a very very young age to start taking on responsibility. You may know this a “milestones.” However, if you look inside at what your soul urge is, we suspect you will gravitate more to the Buzz Lightyear instead of doing the dishes. Play is just as important as the serious times of taking on responsibility.

Dear Angels, thank you and may I always incorporate play time in my days! I love you. Namaste y’all.
