Merry Christmas

I received a Christmas card today. I know, I know, it’s been 83 days since Christmas! My first thought was of regret that I didn’t know this person had sent me a card so I had not acknowledged receiving it (she mailed it on December 21st). Before you get upset at the postal service, I receive my mail late always as it comes forwarded from my friend in Florida who collects it for me. So, my second thought as I opened the card was “what a great blessing to receive a Christmas card at this time of the year.” Yes, indeed why can’t every day be just like Christmas? Why can’t we get into that holiday feeling of love and joy and peace to all no matter what time of year it is? After all, every day we receive the gift of opening our eyes and experiencing another day on our journey.
Dear Angels, help us to understand how to keep the positive energy of special holiday celebrations flowing in our everyday life.
Dear Ones, that feeling you are referring to is brought about by memories. What we are understanding that you are asking is why can’t the warm uplifting feelings be felt every day and we would say to you that it is absolutely possible to draw on your memories at any point in time, no matter what the date on the calendar, because time is relative. If you wish to draw on those happy experiences, please do so at any moment. There’s no need for presents or fancy dinners and decorations, although you can do so if you wish. We encourage you all to be limitless in how you live your lives. Don’t restrict yourself to only doing something because somebody somewhere said it has to be done a certain day or time of the year. When you stay in the now moment, anything is possible – even Christmas in March!
