I Wonder As I Wander

I saw the horse a few minutes before he spotted me looking at him. I had run an errand in Paso Robles and then got intentionally lost just to see what was in the area. Sometimes I do this when I am feeling particularly adventurous. I drove by wineries and grape fields and then saw this magnificent horse standing so tall and beautiful, dark brown coat shining in the sun. He saw me and raised his head upward in acknowledgment. Then a most magical thing happened. He started to dance. It was such a divine moment as I sat in the car and watched this creature perform his dance offering. It was just me and him as there were no other people or cars around. I had not been feeling particularly well earlier and this was just what I needed to raise my spirits. It showed me the power of the connection between everything on the planet. All energy recognizes energy. We call to us some of the most amazing experiences when we are open to receive. By getting myself lost, I found a miracle in the middle of an open field somewhere in central California!
Dear Angels, miracles come sometimes when we least expect them and in unexpected packages. I feel so blessed to be free to travel and see for myself the wonders of the world. How can we all show up more in all aspects of our lives?
Dear Ones, it is through your willingness to receive that miracles are brought your way. It is in letting go that you gain the most. You are empowered by your connection to who you are, not by anything you cling to in the world. When you choose to allow yourself to be free, that freedom opens up opportunities to show you your magnificence. When you are lying on the bathroom floor filled with grief and rage, wanting the pain to disappear along with your tears, we are sitting right beside you on that cold tile. Let your passion and all your emotions flow freely. Those are the moments you are most authentic. You can never love too deep or care too much. Live this thing called life with sweet abandon. When you choose love, you are choosing to enter the miracle zone. There really is not time for anything else, is there?
