Baby It Is Cold Outside But Warm In My Heart

“The two most important days in life are the day you born and the day you find out why.” – Mark Twain

Today was moving day. I have pretty much stopped using the H word so I will just say I really dislike moving. My moves these days are very different than they were in the past where it involved a ton of boxes, heavy furniture, breakable items, etc. Nonetheless, it still involves lugging a multitude of “things” from point A to point B. But enough of complaining! I am in one of the most spectacular places in Colorado, Lake Chautauqua. It sits at the base of the flatirons, the mountains that make Boulder Boulder. There is still snow and ice on the ground but inside my cabin it is nice and toasty – yes, I have control of the thermostat. Driving here today I actually saw a human with a t-shirt and shorts on! These Coloradoans are definitely a different breed. I don’t think they realize just how cold it really is and I have stopped trying to tell them. It’s part of that “stay in your lane” thing that I have adapted as a way of living my life. We are all here doing the best we can and it is nobody’s job to micromanage another person.

Dear Angels, the beauty of this country continues to amaze me. The awe I feel as I look at my surroundings makes me temporarily forget how cold I am. I can understand how people put up with the brutal cold when there is such heart-warming beauty around. It is easy to connect inward with our higher selves when there is such inspiration.

Dear Ones, nature is indeed a powerful healer and connector to your soul. When you can admire a mountain, a lake, the ocean, or any part of your earth planet, you will be drawn to the creator of such beauty. Just remember though, Dear Ones, that you do not have to be physically present to hold that image and inspiration in hour heart. Your memories are powerful. Whether you are remembering a place such as the beauty of nature or a loved one who has gone on to spirit, you have the ability to simply think and be transported to that energy. Many of you ask us about what happens to your memories once your human body is done. Every experience you have had in your lifetime created an energy field. Energy does not die. It simply shifts to another form. While there are not “good or bad” experiences, there are ones that are more unpleasant than others. You came here to learn from all of your experiences. Part of that learning is how to transmute any energy that is unlike love. When you can understand that the experience itself is neutral, then you can begin to shift and change energy field. In spirit there is no judgment of “good or bad.” Therefore, memories of experiences are simply an acknowledgement of the fact that the experience happened and that it contributed to your soul growth. Some try to attribute human emotions to their loved ones who have reentered the spirit realm. We assure you that is not the case. Your loved ones who have crossed over are neither angry or sad about their experiences, or about what your current experience entails. They do not get mad about decisions you are making or experiences you are living out in your life. They have moved on to a higher understanding and are not influenced by the 3D ego-based energy. The only thing that is taken into the spiritual realm is love because everything else is just an illusion. There really is nothing other than love. The fires you go through in your human experience call for an understanding of love. Just as the temperature can be "tolerated” due to the beauty of the environment, so can any of your fires of life. Stay in the wonder and awe of who you truly are, which is pure love and you will find that warm glow inside that rises above anything that life brings your way.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to stay in the awe and wonder of life and let everything else be background filler.
