“I'm not trying to be different. To me, I'm just being myself.” Jaylen Brown
There’s a popular song I heard recently called “Me, Myself and I” and some of the lyrics are so spot on; especially “Oh, it's just me, myself and I, Solo ride until I die, Cause I got me for life.” I think it is amazing that so many do not understand the truth of this or do understand but do not know how to connect with “me.” We all came here for a purpose. We chose to inhabit the body we are in, to have the personality we have. Some spend a lifetime running from that person, not liking the way you look or sound, maybe the way you walk or your station in life. Take a good look at who “me” is. It is your creation. What is the purpose of being the way you are? Can you be okay with you? If you're looking for motivation, satisfaction, and purpose, it is up to you to find that. It is up to you to discover what pushes you to the next level, to try harder, and to succeed. While others may be useful in that pursuit of happiness, most of that responsibility rests on your shoulders.
Dear Angels, I own my “me-ness” as I have finally come to understand myself. It brings inner peace to know that I can just be and not have to live up to anyone else’s idea of who I am. How do I keep that perspective when I get out of my peace and get caught up in what is happening in the world “outside” of me?
Dear Ones, the inner work necessary to come back to your core self, your pure self, results in the acceptance of you just as you are. It is an ongoing process though, Dear One. You change each moment with each new experience. Questions will come up, doubts will surface. However, if you have truly done your deep dive to find you, then you have a solid foundation that will not quiver and shake when the winds blow. Keep going into your core and plug in to that place where you found the true being that you are. Others may not understand you and that’s okay. It is your journey that you chose in order to grow and expand your consciousness on a spiritual level. Do not be swayed from the task that you came to do. Just be you.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to be unapologetically me.
