Living Life

“In order to write about life first you must live it.”

– Ernest Hemingway

I have existed on this earth plane for many years now. I’ve lived for a few of those years. It is true that one can inhabit a breathing functional body yet be oblivious to what it means to truly live life. I can break my life down into phases of my existence and I learned something from each phase, but I liken it to dreaming amazing dreams during sleep time and they vanish with the opening of the eyes. There were so many times when I heard the calling to fully wake up and remember only to come out of that phase and still be in the dark. Life lessons were repeated and the cycle kept being repeated until I finally said STOP, I want off this crazy carnival ride. I pleaded and bargained with God. I stomped my feet and made demands. And that’s when the fight started…the fight inside of myself. Until then I was blaming things and people outside of me – ex husbands and lovers, parents, siblings, bosses, disease. My demands to God sounded something like “do not send me another alcoholic relationship!” “get me out of this boring job.” I would complain to the angels. I would listen to inspirational videos and marvel at how others found their breakthrough. Finally (I guess I can be a slow learner), a lightbulb moment happened and I saw, really saw, how I had fingers pointing at everything and everyone but myself. At first it was “what do you mean I have to change? They’re the problem!” Therein was the problem, that I thought there was a problem in the first place! I was so caught up in the illusion and the ego story that I couldn’t own my own stinkin’ thinkin’. I also couldn’t own my own power because I had given it away to others so I could blame them for things going wrong. I look back at that time in my life, my aha moment, and I get on my knees and thank God every day for waking up and facing myself. To really grow spiritually, we all have to come to that crossroad. We all have to acknowledge that there is no right or wrong, no one to blame, nothing to be guilty about. We cannot change anything in our past, and certainly not by holding in an energy of regret and guilt. Each moment is an opportunity to wipe the slate clean. It does not mean we can erase our history because the events happened that were our life experiences; however, we do not need to erase – we need only heal.

Dear Angels, I am grateful for lessons learned and being able to finally live my life instead of only existing. I wish this freedom for everyone on our planet but I do understand it has to happen in divine time and when one is ready to face reality.

Dear Ones, indeed you are so correct in the words you use. No one and nothing can convince a being that they are misguided in their thinking. We can only work with humans to the extent that they are willing to allow us to shine a light on situations and help guide them. Each of you must come to that place where you have to make a decision to turn one way or another. Sometimes that place happens at the end of the proverbial rope, when you have had enough of the cyclic experiences. Just how willing you are to make a change will determine how quickly the transformation occurs. We want your happiness, joy and peace. We do not delight in seeing you struggle and certainly God does not. Search your heart, Dear Ones. See if you are finally able to put a distance between you and the hold that your past has on you. Grab your freedom!

Dear Angels, I am so happy to be free of the limits that enslaved me. Thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to stay in my bubble of happiness and peace. I choose to make wise choices and if it does not feel in alignment with my best and highest good, then I know it is not for me.
