HERE I AM, SEND ME

Being here in Hawaii has given me a sacred pause—a chance to breathe deeply, meditate, and listen more intently to the still, small voice within. Surrounded by the rhythm of the ocean waves, the songs of birds, and the whisper of the trade winds, I feel my heart expanding into deeper prayer. My meditations lately have shifted; they have become less about words and more about the willingness to surrender. There is a Hebrew word that captures this beautifully—hineni—which means “Here I am.” In the Hebrew Bible, it is the response of prophets and faithful ones when God calls. I remember my teenage years when I first gave my life to Christ. That moment of commitment was so alive with light and certainty. Now, as I sit here on this island, I feel a rekindling of that same fire—a recommitment that rises from the depths of my soul. It is as if I am once again saying, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”
Dear Angels, what does it truly mean to live in this place of surrender, to embody hineni in my daily walk?
Dear Ones, surrender is not defeat; it is the greatest victory of the soul. When you say hineni, you step into alignment with the Divine plan written in your heart long before your birth. It is the willingness to lay down resistance, to trust the path unseen, and to embrace each moment as sacred. Do not fear where the Lord will send you, for you are never sent alone. Each step you take in ‘yes’ is surrounded by our wings, upheld by love, and guided by the Christ light within you. Surrender is not giving up—it is opening up, fully, to the miracles that await.
Angels Whisper: Here I am. Here I am. With open hands and an open heart, I am ready. I release control and allow grace to lead me. I trust the One who calls me by name. I am never alone.
Today, I promise to say my sacred yes with open heart and open arms.
