BECOMING WHO YOU ARE - LOVE

“Whatever you are, be a good one.”   Abraham Lincoln

Today was an interesting day. I gave myself permission to slow down, regroup, rejuvenate, and organize my thoughts. After the whirlwind of experiences I have had here in Alaska, my mind and heart needed a little time to catch up with my soul!

There has been dogsledding, glacier gazing, moose watching, encounters with some of God's most magnificent creatures, and the sacred blessing of the land that marked the completion of my journey through all fifty states on the Peace On Earth Tour. Someone remarked that I had saved the best for last. Well, I certainly cannot argue with that! Alaska has ranked right up there among the greatest experiences of my lifetime.

Yet, as I sat quietly today reflecting on all that has unfolded, I realized something profound. It isn't necessarily the places we go or the extraordinary things we do that define our lives. It is who we are while we are doing them.

Abraham Lincoln's simple words carry such a powerful message. Whatever you are, be a good one. He didn't say to be the most successful, the most famous, the wealthiest, or the most admired. He simply encouraged us to be good at being who we are. What a beautiful invitation to live authentically!

Over these past six years, I have worn many hats. I have been a traveler, a teacher, a student, a messenger, a friend, a stranger, and sometimes simply a woman sitting behind the steering wheel of a silver car, trusting God to show her the next turn. Through it all, I have tried to remain faithful to the calling placed upon my heart — to be an instrument of peace. I haven't always known where I was going. I certainly haven't always understood why I was being led somewhere. There have been storms, detours, unexpected challenges, and moments when I wondered how everything would come together. Yet, time after time, Spirit reminded me of something I have come to embrace wholeheartedly: STCOM — Spirit Takes Care Of Me. And Spirit certainly has!

As I reflect on Alaska, I think about the people who have crossed my path. The mushers who lovingly care for their sled dogs, the people who respect the wildlife and magnificent land around them, and those who offer kindness to strangers without expecting anything in return. Each person has a role to play in this beautiful tapestry of life. They don't have to be anyone other than who they are to make a difference. Neither do we.

Perhaps you are a parent doing your best to raise compassionate children. Perhaps you are a caregiver, an artist, a teacher, a business owner, or someone quietly navigating a difficult chapter of life. Whatever your role, there is an opportunity to bring love into it. You don't have to travel to all fifty states to spread peace. You don't have to stand before an audience or accomplish something extraordinary to fulfill your divine purpose. Sometimes being a good human being is as simple as listening when someone needs to be heard, offering a smile to a stranger, respecting the earth beneath your feet, or choosing kindness when frustration would be easier.

Today, as I allowed myself to rest, I also remembered that being good at what we do includes knowing when to stop doing and simply be. Even the most passionate heart needs moments of stillness. Even the most adventurous soul needs time to absorb the beauty of the journey. I have spent six years blessing the land, the waters, and the people I have encountered. Now, here in the majestic beauty of Alaska, I feel that the land has blessed me in return. What a magnificent exchange of love! Perhaps that is the greatest lesson of this journey. We are not here to compete with one another or prove our worth through accomplishments. We are here to discover the unique light God placed within us and allow it to shine as brightly as possible.

Be the best version of yourself, not because the world demands it, but because your soul deserves to express the fullness of its divine creation. And remember that being a good one does not mean being a perfect one. It means showing up with an open heart, learning from your experiences, forgiving yourself when you stumble, and choosing love again and again.

As I prepare for whatever adventure Spirit has planned next, I carry an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Fifty states. Six years. Countless blessings. And one simple mission that continues to guide my heart. Peace begins with me. Peace begins with you. Peace begins wherever love is allowed to lead.

Dear Angels, after six years of traveling, serving, and following divine guidance, I find myself reflecting on what it truly means to fulfill my purpose. How do we know if we are being the best version of ourselves?

Dear Ones, oh how beautifully you are awakening to the truth of your existence. You were never created to be a copy of another soul. You were created as a unique expression of God's infinite love. Do not measure your goodness by the miles you have traveled, the achievements you have collected, or the recognition you have received. Measure it instead by the love you have shared, the compassion you have extended, and the peace you have cultivated within your own heart.

Every soul has a sacred assignment, and no assignment is greater or lesser than another. The one who comforts a grieving friend serves the Divine just as surely as the one who travels across continents spreading a message of peace. Beloved ones, you need not strive for perfection. Simply bring your whole heart to whatever is before you. If you are called to teach, teach with love. If you are called to heal, heal with compassion. If you are called to rest, rest without guilt. If you are called to begin again, do so with courage. And when you question whether you have done enough, remember that your very presence can be a blessing. You are not here to become worthy. You are here to remember that you already are.

Walk gently upon the earth. Honor the light within yourself and others. Trust the unfolding of your divine path. And above all, Dear Ones, whatever you are, be love.

Angels Whisper: You do not have to do extraordinary things to live an extraordinary life. Simply bring extraordinary love to the ordinary moments. Your purpose is not measured by how far you travel, but by how deeply you love along the way. Be who God created you to be, and let that be enough.

Today, I promise to keep giving the love in my heart to this world that I love.
