“If we truly want to have world peace, we have to end human trafficking.” - Jason Mraz
There have been several times in my life when a burning thought, an inner churning, a knowingness that I know is not coming from my human brain. As I travel through the country on the Peace On Earth Tour there are many times I have to stop in public rest areas to use their facilities. Invariably, I see messages written on bathroom stalls or posters hung sharing the hotline information to report human trafficking. This has been brought to my attention more and more recently and I know there is a reason. I am not quite sure exactly what that looks like yet, but I do know that I am not alone. As I talk to more people about it, I am hearing the same yearning to help coming from their hearts as well. In the 1970’s Karen Carpenter sang a song “Bless The Beasts and The Children” which stated “Give them shelter from the storm, Keep them safe. Keep them warm. Light their way when the darkness surrounds them. Give them love, let it shine all around them.” Our children should not have to worry about a stranger abducting them or wanting to harm them in any way. As a society, we can make a difference in stopping this insane trend where last year over 10,000 known cases of human trafficking was reported.
Dear Angels, as I have had my attention drawn to the word beware many times now, I realize that it is “be aware.” Awareness holds the key to everything. If we are not aware of something, it has no meaning to us even though it exists. I believe “beware” is a calling for all of us to be more aware of ourselves but also of our surroundings. I understand that we are to stay in our lane and mind our own vibration but don’t we have an obligation to “see something say something” when it comes to something that has come into our field of awareness?
Dear Ones, indeed nothing happens by accident or coincidence in your life experience. When you feel an inner nudging or hear a message so clearly, it is there for you to pay closer attention to and examine what you are supposed to do with it. Many times it is a precognitive knowingness of a situation that you will encounter and thus you will already be prepared and know resources to help. Other times it may be the path you are to travel for the moment as one who will become more involved in seeking solutions. Only you can know for sure what that looks like for you after you do your inner journey of discovery. To answer your question about involvement, Dear Ones, the short answer is yes. It came to you for a reason. Turning your attention away from it does not mean the problem goes away. Each one of you has to determine what you will do with the information presented to you. We encourage you, Dear Ones, to always be true to that inner connection as part of the Oneness. Know that when you see others hurting, that is you experiencing it. Then the question becomes not what will you do to help others, but what will you do to help yourself. What you do for one, you do for all.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to open my eyes fully to become more aware of what I need to see and then ask for guidance and strength to do what I can to add to the solution.
SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.
