Hawaii Days Three and Four:
Hawaii continues to unfold her magic before me in ways both grand and intimate. Yesterday was a day painted with wonder and awe as I set out on an adventure with my two dear friends and a new one, Rebecca, who guided us with the wisdom of a local heart. It was a birthday gift that felt divinely orchestrated. We wandered through galleries of local art, tasted the unique flavors of the island, listened to tales born of the volcanoes, and stood in awe of nature’s fiery expressions. By the time the day came to a close, Ruth and I found ourselves gazing upward at the vast Hawaiian night sky. Slowly, the Milky Way unveiled itself, stretching like a shimmering river across the heavens. We captured not only pictures but moments etched forever into our souls. Sleep came easily, wrapped in gratitude.
Today called for gentleness and a touch of pampering. We allowed ourselves to rest in the luxury of presence, and then the island beckoned once more. Waterfalls—those living prayers of the earth—drew us in. Umbrellas in hand, we stood in the soft rain as the cascade of water blessed us with its song. There, surrounded by beauty, time seemed to dissolve. We pulled ourselves away and searched for one of our favorite things – a thrift store. Upon entering, I observed people in one corner of the store sitting and writing. When I asked about it, I was told that they offered a service where one can write a letter to their future self and they will mail it out at the time you designate. How awesome! I sat and wrote of the lessons that have already unfolded on this part of my journey. I will receive it next year when I return from my international travel and will get to reflect on this magical island. The day ended as sweetly as it began, with a dinner that made us feel like royalty, honored not just by the service but by the spirit of Aloha itself.
Dear Angels, how do we best carry this Aloha spirit within us, even when life pulls us away from such beauty?
Dear Ones, the spirit of Aloha is not confined to the shores of Hawaii. It is the eternal warmth of love, the generosity of heart, and the deep awareness of connection to all beings. To carry Aloha is to embody gratitude with every breath. It is to see the sacred in a stranger’s smile, the divine in the falling rain, and the miracle in your own heartbeat. When the world feels heavy or distant from beauty, pause and call forth Aloha. Whisper it like a prayer: “Aloha in my heart.” Let it guide your words, soften your actions, and remind you that you are never separate from grace. You are the waterfall, the starry sky, the warmth of the hale, and the net that is always full—because Love itself flows through you.

Today, I promise to capture every magical moment, not only with a camera but in my heart to hold forever.
