SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW

Double rainbow arches over a green countryside with scattered houses under a bright blue sky. The scene is vibrant and serene.

“For truly we are all angels temporarily hiding as humans.”  ― Brian Weiss

Life gives us so many challenges and at the same time, so many blessings. There are signs all around us if we take the time to observe. I have learned to pause when I feel a nudge in my gut. Like when I was leaving Colorado this week. It was a crazy day with lots to do and I got a later start than anticipated. I found myself overheated and hungry. I started out of town anyway. I was lost in thought of leaving people I loved being around as well as some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. All of a sudden, I looked ahead of where I was and the sky was totally black in the afternoon. I had a choice to make and fortunately I listened to my angels who said to pull over and let the storm pass. As soon as I parked, a friend called who needed to talk. At the end of the conversation, I looked up and the sky had cleared. I started out but not before I was given the most beautiful sign – a rainbow in the sky that seemed to glow in vivid colors. I watched it as I was driving until it was completely faded – well, except for a small part at one end. Its colors remained so vivid as it just hung there in the sky for a very long time, probably half an hour. I have never experienced anything like it. It felt like it was just there for me to see. I.t was my sign that I was taking all the love I experienced in the last few months with me as I left the area

Dear Angels, in our times of angst as we go through challenges, we need to know that we are not alone and that we can always count on you to help us through the tough times. Sometimes we just have to pull over and let the storm pass.

Dear Ones, there are moments in life when the sky darkens without warning, when the winds of change howl with uncertainty, and you find yourselves in the midst of an unexpected storm. These storms come in many forms—grief, heartbreak, fear, loss, or the shaking of your faith. They are loud, raw, and unsettling, and in the middle of them, it’s easy to believe they will last forever. But, Dear Ones, every storm—no matter how fierce—has a purpose and a passing. Even as the thunder roars, the earth is being cleansed. Even as the lightning strikes, it illuminates truth. And when the rain pours down, it nourishes the seeds of something beautiful beneath the surface. Let the storm pass. Don’t fight it. Don’t fear it. Just hold on. Sometimes, the only thing you are being asked to do is to breathe, to be still, and to trust. You do not have to fix the storm. You only have to withstand it with grace. Let it teach you, break what must be broken, and wash away what you no longer need to carry. And then—without fanfare or announcement—the clouds part. There, painted across the sky like a divine promise, is the rainbow. A reminder that you were never alone. That light always returns. That beauty follows even the darkest of nights. The rainbow doesn’t erase the storm, but it transforms it into something meaningful. It says, “You made it. Look what’s on the other side of pain.” So if you are in the storm right now, hold on. Let it pass through you, not destroy you. Let it shape you, not define you. And when you see the rainbow, allow yourself to be in awe—not just of the sky, but of your own strength, your faith, and your divine resilience.

Angels Whisper: The storm does not come to break you—it comes to awaken the light within you. Trust in the unfolding. The rainbow is already on its way.

Today, I promise to pause to let the storms pass and experience the beauty of the rainbows of life.
