SACRED FOOTPRINTS OF PEACE

“Too often … I would hear men boast of the miles covered that day, rarely of what they had seen.” -Louis L’Amour
For almost five years now, the majestic Rockies have become like an old friend to me—towering, strong, and forever whispering their ancient wisdom into my heart. I have stood in awe of their grandeur many times, yet each visit leaves me humbled and somehow more whole. This year, as I bid them farewell, I chose not to rush home. Instead, I let the road become my companion, winding me eastward with gentle nudges toward detours and divine appointments. I stood beneath the soaring curve of the St. Louis Arch, a gateway not just to the West, but to new possibilities. I wandered into the Dells of Wisconsin for the very first time, their rock formations speaking in silent poetry. Along the shores of Lake Michigan—where I have been blessed to hold land blessings before—I felt the familiar embrace of the water’s energy, a reminder that every blessing lingers long after the words are spoken. There were hugs—oh, so many hugs. Arms wrapped around dear friends I had only known through screens and voices until now, each embrace a meeting of hearts that had been waiting for this moment. At Valley Forge, I returned to a land I had blessed before, offering fresh prayers for peace, knowing that the soil remembers. Today’s drive carried me through rolling chapters of beauty—the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Catskills of New York, the Berkshires of Massachusetts where another land blessing rests, and into the Poconos of Pennsylvania. Each range had its own flavor, a unique heartbeat. Some carried echoes of my younger dreams. Passing the exit to Woodstock, Janis Joplin’s voice instantly filled my memory. In my college days, “Me and Bobby McGee” was my morning anthem, a rebel’s lullaby for the day ahead. Oh, how I would have loved to hear her sing in person. And here’s where it all ties back to peace. You see, peace isn’t built in a single moment or in one sacred place. It is layered—like the mountains themselves—formed by countless moments, blessings, and connections. Every handshake, every hug, every shared song, every whispered prayer over a stretch of earth becomes part of a tapestry of peace. The Peace On Earth Tour is not just about visiting places; it’s about infusing them with intention, blessing them for all who pass through, and holding the vision that love will rise in every heart. From the Rockies to the Poconos, each stop on this journey has been another thread in that great weaving of hope.
Dear Angels, how can we keep that peace alive once we leave the sacred places and people that fill us so deeply?
Dear Ones, peace is not confined to a place, nor is it limited to a moment in time. What you feel on the mountain, by the lake, or in the embrace of a friend—that is the spark of peace within you. It travels with you. When you bless the land, you awaken its memory of harmony, but you also awaken it in yourself. Carry it forward. Let your words, your steps, and your breath be a blessing wherever you are. In this way, the peace you plant becomes eternal.
Angels Whisper: Everywhere you go, you are the blessing. Leave your peace as footprints for others to follow.
Today, I promise to continue to step prayerfully on Mama Gaia.
