PRUNED BY GRACE

A person leans against a massive tree with exposed roots in a lush park. The sky is cloudy, and the scene feels serene and peaceful.

"We need to go through and pluck away those things in our lives that initially look beautiful, but in the end just weigh us down."  Finding Normal

There is something so comforting about standing beneath a tree heavy with fruit. It feels like a visible reminder of Mama Gaia’s generosity, her endless desire to nourish and support us. I have always loved seeing branches overflowing with abundance, thinking, What a blessing. What a gift. Recently, however, I realized something that shifted my perspective. When fruit becomes too heavy on a tree, it can actually weaken it. The branches bend under the weight. Some break. The tree becomes more vulnerable to insects and disease. Its shape becomes distorted. Even fruit that grows too closely together is more likely to rot. In other words, too much of a good thing can quietly become harmful. Hmm…Isn’t that true for us humans as well? So often, we focus on gathering, accumulating, and achieving. We chase dreams, possessions, commitments, and expectations. We tell ourselves that this next thing will finally bring peace, happiness, or fulfillment. I once had a necklace that simply said, “I want, I want, I want.” It made me smile—and it made me think. There is nothing wrong with desire. Wanting to grow, to create, to experience, and to enjoy life is part of being human. The angels have never asked us to live small or shrink ourselves. But they often remind me:

Things do not create joy.

They only amplify what already lives inside us.

If our hearts are peaceful, abundance feels light.

If our hearts are weary, abundance feels heavy.

Just like those fruit-laden trees, we too can become weighed down—by possessions, responsibilities, emotional baggage, outdated beliefs, unresolved pain, and even by dreams that no longer align with our soul. Sometimes what once looked beautiful…now quietly drains us. Sometimes what once felt exciting…now feels exhausting. And that is not failure. That is awareness. This is why spiritual pruning is essential. Decluttering is not only about closets and drawers. It is about:

• Releasing relationships that no longer nourish.

• Letting go of habits that dim our light.

• Clearing emotional clutter.

• Releasing expectations that are not ours.

• Creating space for truth and peace.

When we prune with love, we make room for healthier growth.

Dear Angels, how do we know what needs to be released in our lives, and how do we let go without fear?

Dear Ones, release is not loss—it is alignment. You are not asked to strip yourself bare, but to free yourself from what no longer reflects who you are becoming. What drains you, burdens you, or dims your joy is gently asking to be released. Notice what feels heavy. Notice what feels forced. Notice what no longer brings peace. These are your soul’s signals. Letting go does not mean you failed. It means you listened. Trust that when you create space, we fill it with clarity, strength, and renewed purpose. Pruning allows your life force to circulate freely once more. You are meant to grow upright, strong, and radiant—not bent beneath unnecessary weight. We walk with you as you choose lightness. We encourage you to process this message by doing the following inner reflection.

Write your personal release affirmation:

I honor what this has taught me. I release it now with gratitude and love.

Angels Whisper:  You were never meant to carry everything. Release what is heavy, and you will remember how naturally you rise.”

Today, I promise to let go of what no longer serves me.
