Listening For Guidance

My drive time today gave me plenty of opportunity to reflect on strength and perseverance. Except for a few places along the way, the drive was pleasant and without incident. There was one point where I ended up exiting the interstate as it was unclear with the construction going on which lane was which. When I re-entered, I was the only car on the road in either direction. This has happened before on the journey and can be rather daunting. It is such an eerie feeling of being left behind or maybe everyone else knew something I didn’t.
Dear Angels, it seems that my situation today was showing me the importance of perseverance and the ability to keep going forward even when seemingly paving a way. Sometimes it is necessary to be the one leading the way instead of following others. While I was eventually joined by other travelers, the message came through and I continued on in my driving meditation.
Dear Ones, it is important to keep moving forward in all circumstances. It is when you feel you are totally alone that we are able to show up for you and help you put things in perspective. You always have choices. In all circumstances you can choose to stop, change course, or continue on the direction that your GPS is telling you to go. Sometimes a solo journey is what is necessary to remove all distractions. When you find yourself on such a path, it is a powerful way to build confidence in your ability to stay the course. It is a wonderful way to feel your independence in making choices on your own, and then when others join in, you can enjoy the company. There is nothing to be afraid of in traveling alone. Enjoy the moments as you allow yourself to be inspired and trust your guides.
