“Pray, hope, and don’t worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.” Padre Pio
Pio of Pietrelcina widely known as Padre Pio was an Italian friar, priest, stigmatist, and mystic. I learned of him from my friend, Susanne who lives near his shrine in Pennsylvania. We went there on my first visit with her and I learned so much about this gentle, compassionate soul. Two days before his death, Padre Pio said, “Love Our Lady and make her loved.” He attributes his attainment of holiness to his close relationship with Mary as she drew him closer to Christ. For centuries, Mother Mary has been honored during the entire month of May. Following the Padre’s message to love her and always make her feel loved seems to be appropriate for us to remember during this month-long tribute to her.
Dear Angels, May is often associated with renewal, new beginnings, and the celebration of Motherhood, particularly through the tradition of honoring Mary. It is also a time for reflecting on spiritual growth, hope, and the potential for transformation.
Dear Ones, be still and feel into that sacred place within you, an altar of remembrance where divine love dwells eternally. It is here, in the quiet chambers of your soul, that you meet the presence of spiritual divinity. And among the great celestial lights that guide you home, there is one whose radiance is both tender and fierce, soft and powerful. That is Mother Mary, Queen of Angels and Heart of Compassion. She comes not as a distant figure in stained glass or scripture alone, but as a living presence, offering grace to the weary, hope to the brokenhearted, and unwavering peace to the soul in turmoil. She is the holy whisper in the night when all seems lost, the gentle hand brushing away tears, the sacred mother who sees you not for your mistakes but for your eternal worth. To honor Mother Mary is to bow not in fear, but in love. It is to embrace the divine feminine in all its forms: nurturing, wise, resilient, and eternally forgiving. She is the rose that blooms in the desert, the moonlight guiding you through emotional tides, the embodiment of sacred strength that says, “Be still,” and means trust, surrender, and bloom anyway. Her story is a reminder that humility is not weakness, and purity is not perfection, but the courageous willingness to walk the path of divine love regardless of what the world may say. She bore the light of the world and yet never sought a throne—only to be in service of a higher calling. In her silence, you can hear the loudest truth - that love, especially spiritual love, is the greatest force in all the universe. Today, pause and open your heart to the healing grace of Mother Mary. Let her compassion envelop your wounds. Let her wisdom remind you that you are never alone. Let her divine light awaken the sacred within you.
Angels Whisper: the Divine Mother lives in your heartbeat and breathes in your stillness. When you feel unworthy, she sees only your light. Rest in her embrace and remember that you are the prayer she continues to answer.
Today, I promise to be still and develop a closer walk with Divine Mother.
