DREAMING WITH THE DIVINE

Sunbeams break through dramatic gray clouds over silhouetted trees and rooftops at sunset, creating a calm, awe-filled sky

“Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere." —Albert Einstein

Without imagination, the world would be a much less interesting place. Imagination has given us stories that inspire us, inventions that transform our lives, and dreams that encourage us to reach beyond what seems possible. Every great innovation began as an idea that existed only in someone's imagination. Before there were airplanes, someone imagined humans flying. Before there were computers, someone imagined a way to connect information and people across great distances. Before there was a Peace On Earth Tour, there was a dream in my heart that whispered, "What if peace could spread from one blessing to another until it touched the world?"

Logic is important. It helps us organize, plan, and navigate daily life. It builds bridges and solves equations. Yet logic often asks, "What is?" while imagination asks, "What could be?" As children, imagination comes naturally. We create entire worlds from blankets and cardboard boxes. We speak with invisible friends and believe anything is possible. Somewhere along the way, many of us are taught to be practical, realistic, and sensible. While those qualities have value, they can sometimes dim the spark of wonder that lives within us.

The angels have often reminded me that imagination is not merely fantasy. It is one of the ways Spirit communicates with us. Every vision, every inspired idea, every dream planted within our hearts begins in the fertile soil of imagination. It is the doorway through which possibilities enter our awareness. When we imagine a kinder world, we begin creating it. When we imagine healing, we open ourselves to receiving it. When we imagine peace, we become instruments through which peace can flow. Perhaps that is why God gave us imagination—not simply for entertainment, but as a sacred tool for creation.

Dear Angels, how can we tell the difference between wishful thinking and divine inspiration?

Dear Ones, divine inspiration carries the energy of expansion. It awakens hope, excitement, and possibility within your soul. Wishful thinking often seeks escape from what is, while divine inspiration invites you to participate in creating what can be. Do not dismiss your dreams because they seem too large or improbable. Many of the greatest blessings humanity has experienced first appeared as impossible ideas.

Your imagination is a bridge between the visible and the invisible worlds. Through it, seeds of possibility are planted. Some ideas are meant to remain playful explorations, while others are divine invitations to action. The way you discern the difference is by listening to your heart. If an idea continues to return with gentleness, persistence, and joy, pay attention. Allow yourself to wonder. Allow yourself to dream. Allow yourself to imagine a life filled with love, purpose, and peace. The Creator delights in co-creating with you.

Angels Whisper:  Every miracle begins as an unseen possibility. Trust the dreams that awaken your soul, for imagination is often the first glimpse of what Spirit is preparing to bring into being.

Today, I promise to use my imagination every day.
