Look Into The Eyes Of The Now
“Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.” — Will Rogers
Everywhere I look these days people are multitasking, juggling multiple thoughts and tasks at once, without truly being present in any of them. I have always considered myself a great multitasker and got a lot accomplished by doing so. However, it is stressful to do this for any length of time, and as a result, I think I may have missed out on the joy and serenity that can be found in the present moment. Staying present in the now ensures that we are engaging with our surroundings, our relationships, and ourselves. It means cherishing the simple pleasures, like savoring a delicious meal, feeling the warmth of sunlight on our skin, or relishing the laughter of loved ones. It is fully experiencing the present without judgment or attachment, accepting the ebb and flow of life with open arms, and finding gratitude for every experience, no matter how mundane or extraordinary.
Dear Angels, when we live in the moment, we become more deeply connected to ourselves and others. We become better listeners, more empathetic and compassionate individuals, and we strengthen our relationships and bonds. By being fully present, we create space for genuine connection and intimacy, allowing ourselves and others to be seen, heard, and understood. How do we stay more present with all that is going on in our world?
Dear Ones, living in the now moment is not about abandoning your goals and dreams or ignoring the lessons of the past. It is about finding a balance between being present and planning for the future. By fully immersing yourselves in the present, you gain clarity and focus, enabling you to make better decisions and take action aligned with your values and aspirations. Many times, you try to predict what is coming next and create scenarios of potential outcomes. This is where fear and insecurity creep in. Staying present allows you to gain clarity about what you want and how you are feeling about it. Instead of a knee-jerk reaction based on fear and anxiety, we encourage you to take a step away and focus on one thing at a time. Your future self will thank you for it.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to be more aware of when I try to juggle too much in my life and stay more present.
