BE SEEN AND HEARD

"What's the point of having a voice if you're gonna be silent in those moments you shouldn't be?" — Angie Thomas
I think if we knew from an early age just how important our voice is, we would pay more attention to how to use it. As someone who came from an environment of being restricted in being seen and heard, it was a hard lesson to speak up for myself. There is a sacred power within each of us—a voice that was never meant to be hidden, silenced, or dismissed. And yet, for so many, learning to use that voice has been a journey… sometimes a long and tender one. It can feel easier to stay quiet, to shrink back, to let others take the lead. But deep within, there is always that whisper—the one that says, “You matter. Your words matter.”
Every day I put out a reminder to myself and anyone who will listen that our children are our future. Somewhere there is a child who will become a leader in some capacity. What if every child was encouraged not only to speak, but to be heard… to ask questions, to explore, to wonder out loud? When we nurture curiosity, we nurture confidence. When we allow expression, we cultivate leaders—not just of others, but of their own lives. As it is written in Bible, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6). This is not just about teaching—it is about empowering. It is about honoring the divine spark within each soul that longs to express, to question, to grow.
It is never too late to reclaim your voice.
It is never too late to speak your truth.
It is never too late to be heard.
Dear Angels, how do we find the courage to use our voice, especially in moments when fear tells us to stay silent?
Dear Ones, your voice is an extension of your divine essence. It carries your truth, your wisdom, and your unique perspective into the world. When you silence your voice out of fear, you are dimming a light that was meant to shine. Understand this—fear is not your enemy, but a signal. It shows you where you have been conditioned to believe that your voice is not safe or not valuable. We gently remind you that this is not truth—it is learned limitation.
Begin with small steps. Speak kindly to yourself. Share your thoughts in spaces that feel supportive. Each time you honor your voice, you strengthen it. Each time you express your truth, you align more deeply with who you are. And know this—your voice may be the very message someone else is waiting to hear. Your courage creates permission for others to rise and speak as well. You are not here to be silent. You are here to be expressed.
Angels Whisper: Your voice is a gift from the Divine—do not hide it in the shadows of doubt. Speak with love, speak with truth, and trust that your words carry ripples of light far beyond what you can see. When you honor your voice, you honor your soul.
Today, I promise to keep using my voice and speak authentically.
