THE SACRED JOURNEY BEGINS

The countdown has reached its final tick. Bags are packed—at least as packed as they can be after multiple attempts and second guesses. My heart beats a rhythm that sounds like wings preparing to take flight. In just a few short hours, I will board an airplane bound for a distant land, carrying with me not only the message of peace but the vibration of every prayer that has been whispered for this mission. Tonight, as I rest in my nephew’s home near the airport, I find myself in sacred company. My bedfellow is a cat—no ordinary feline, but a gentle diabetic rescue who seems to sense the rising tide of energy swirling through the room. She presses close, purring softly, grounding me in the now. I smile as I think of Egypt, my first destination, and the ancient reverence the people there held for cats. Perhaps she knows something I don’t. Perhaps she is blessing me with her quiet feline magic, sending her own energy ahead of me to pave the way. I sit here on the edge of anticipation, my heart trembling between “ending” and “beginning.” Is this the culmination of years of devotion, or merely the next step on an infinite path? The truth, I feel, is both. Every ending folds seamlessly into a beginning, just as every inhale gives way to an exhale. I am ready—not for perfection, but for presence. Ready to listen to the whispers of the Nile, to the breath of the desert wind, to the angels who have guided me here one gentle nudge at a time. 

Dear Angels, as I stand at this threshold between worlds, between comfort and the unknown, what would you have me know about this journey? 

Dear One, every journey you take is written in light long before your feet touch the path. You do not travel alone—you are carried upon the breath of the Divine. The destination is but a spark compared to the brilliance of each step taken in faith. You are not called to rush to the end, but to awaken within the unfolding. As you cross oceans and deserts, mountains and valleys, know that the same Presence that called you here travels with you. Every sunrise will remind you of new beginnings; every star above the Nile will whisper that you are part of something eternal. The sacred ground you walk upon will recognize you—not by your name, but by your vibration. For you carry peace in your cells, in your words, in the silent language of your heart. The cat at your side tonight mirrors your own awareness: alert, graceful, attuned to unseen realms. She reminds you to move softly, to watch with eyes of wonder, and to trust the instinct of your soul. This journey is not about reaching the end, but about remembering who you are with each breath of the way. Let go of the idea of “ready,” for readiness is not in the packing of a bag—it is in the opening of the heart. Say your sacred yes again and again as each moment greets you. Let gratitude be your compass, curiosity your guide, and love your endless horizon. 

Angels Whisper:  The path before you is not new—it is remembered. Each step is a reunion with the Divine that walks within you. Go forth, Beloved, for Heaven journeys with you.

Today, I promise to fully embrace the now as I journey forward in love and gratitude.
