HOME IS WHERE THE ROSE APPEARS

Close-up of vibrant red roses in a garden, with rich green leaves and a mulch-covered ground, creating a vivid and serene atmosphere.

“People where you live, the little prince said, grow five thousand roses in one garden… Yet they don’t find what they’re looking for… And yet what they’re looking for could be found in a single rose.” — From The Little Prince (originally published in French as Le Petit Prince) by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

There is a sweetness in this story that has followed me since childhood. I can still see my French teacher’s eyes light up each time she spoke of Le Petit Prince, especially when she quoted the line that follows: “But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart.” Even then, something in me understood that the Little Prince wasn’t just talking about flowers. He was speaking of truth — of how love shows up in the simplest forms, waiting for us to notice. As I sit here in India, thousands of miles from home, I feel that message come alive. This journey has been long-awaited, prayed over, and Divinely woven from threads I didn’t even know were being spun. The travel itself was exhausting and at times intimidating, especially navigating a world where I didn’t speak the language or understand the signs around me. Yet something inside urged me forward — that same inner whisper that tells us, Your rose is waiting. Keep going. And then… there she was.

My beloved friend, Pracheta, stood in the crowd with open arms and three red roses, smiling as if the universe had planned this moment from the beginning of time. In that instant, every mile, every challenge, every moment of uncertainty simply dissolved. The roses in her hands were no longer just flowers — they were a symbol of home, of love, of the Divine reminding me, You are exactly where you are meant to be. We can search the world — five thousand roses, five thousand expectations, five thousand external answers — and still feel empty. But when we look with the heart, even a single rose becomes a universe.

Dear Angels, why do we search so far when what we long for is often right before us?

Dear Ones, you search outward because the soul remembers something vast and beautiful, and it longs to find it again. Yet the greatest treasures are not hidden in distant places — they bloom wherever love is present. The heart is your compass. When you follow it, even across oceans, it guides you to the exact people, moments, and miracles meant for your awakening. A single rose, a familiar smile, a loving embrace — these are reminders that home is not a place, but a recognition. What you seek is seeking you, always.

Angels Whisper: Look with your heart, Dear One. What seems far away becomes near, and what feels ordinary becomes holy. Your rose is already in bloom.

Today, I promise to cherish each rose.
