WHEN THE WORLD SPINS, BE STILL

“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.”   Dalai Lama

Oh, what a day indeed! Sometimes I think my life could fill volumes of books with the lessons that unfold moment by moment. Today was one of those days. It began with such ease and peace—leaving early for a doctor’s appointment so I could stay calm in rush hour traffic, catching a few minutes of Morning Cuppa Joy, and feeling that familiar sense of calm that comes when we’re in divine flow. But then the energy shifted. The nurse who called my name moved like a whirlwind, and I could feel myself being pulled into his storm. My spirit whispered, Slow down, stay grounded. I took a deep breath and anchored myself in peace. It seemed to make him even more frantic, as though my calm highlighted his chaos. When we are the still point in another’s storm, it can sometimes bring their discomfort to the surface. But peace held me steady. A small detail about a pharmacy—something I almost dismissed as I rarely have a need for one—became part of the divine comedy of the day. Later I discovered the prescription I needed for my upcoming travel had been sent all the way to Utah instead of Florida! It was such a gentle reminder from Spirit: when we are distracted or ungrounded, even the smallest moments can go awry. Then came the gentleman in line who scoffed when he read my Peace On Earth Tour bracelet. He couldn’t see the word “Peace,” only “On Earth Tour,” and when I shared the full phrase, he smirked sarcastically, “Good luck with that.” For a brief moment, I felt the sting of cynicism brush against my aura. But rather than let it pierce me, I smiled, blessed him silently, and walked away in peace. The rest of the day carried this same lesson—tiny disruptions, small frustrations, little invitations to step out of alignment. Each one was a test of my own inner temple. Was I still rooted in kindness? Was I living the simple religion of the heart? When I finally returned to my friend’s home and sat in the stillness, I understood. Every encounter today had been an initiation into the very teaching of the Dalai Lama’s quote. There was no need for a temple built of stone—only the sanctuary I carry within, where kindness is the guiding light.

Dear Angels, when things start to unravel and shake our foundation, how do we put the train back on the tracks?

Dear One, you return to your temple. Close your eyes and breathe deeply. The sanctuary is not lost—it merely waits for your remembrance. The chaos of the world cannot enter where peace resides. Each time you respond with gentleness instead of irritation, you polish the altar of your heart. When the storm outside grows louder, step inward. Feel the steady beat of your heart—it is the rhythm of divine order. Do not rush to fix what seems broken; instead, bring love to the moment. As you do, the energy realigns itself. What appeared as disarray becomes divine redirection. Kindness is not weakness—it is mastery. It is how Heaven expresses through you. Each choice you make to be in the stillness lifts you higher above the 3D fray. You are not here to correct anything, Dear One. You are here to provide an example of what peace, love and joy look like. By not engaging with the riptide, you do not get pulled into its potentially harmful effect. Stay in your heart. Stay centered. Be the light.

Angel Whisper: When the world feels too loud, return to the quiet temple within. There you will find us, lighting candles of peace in the sanctuary of your heart.

Today, I promise to stay on the shore where I know my zen can bask in the Divine light.
