PROCRASTINATE NOTHING

One of the slogans I encountered over the past week was "Procrastinate Nothing." Those two simple words stopped me in my tracks. How often do we postpone the very things our hearts are urging us to do? We tell ourselves we'll make the phone call tomorrow, volunteer next month, write the book someday, or finally begin pursuing that dream when the timing is better.

But what if the timing is already perfect? Every moment presents us with a choice. We choose what we think, what we say, how we respond, what we create, and where we place our attention. Those choices ripple outward in ways we may never fully understand. A smile shared with a stranger, an encouraging word to a friend, a prayer whispered for someone in need, or a simple act of kindness can alter the course of another person's day—or even their life.

The angels have taught me that divine guidance often arrives as a gentle nudge rather than a booming command. It may come as an idea that won't leave you alone, an unexpected opportunity, or a quiet feeling in your heart saying, "Do this." Too often we dismiss these nudges because they seem insignificant or because we doubt ourselves. What if that nudge is heaven inviting you to participate in something much greater?

Some of the most meaningful experiences of my life began with a simple "yes." Saying yes to writing a daily blog. Yes to traveling across America on the Peace On Earth Tour. Yes to blessing the land and waters. Yes to speaking with complete strangers who later became lifelong friends. None of those opportunities came with guarantees or a detailed roadmap. They simply began with one step. If I had waited until I felt completely prepared, many of those beautiful experiences would never have happened.

Life has taught me that tomorrow is never promised. As a transplant recipient, I understand this truth in a deeply personal way. Every sunrise is a gift. Every breath is an opportunity. Every encounter is a chance to leave someone feeling more loved, more hopeful, or more inspired than they did before. Improving the world doesn't always require grand gestures. We sometimes imagine changing the world means becoming famous, starting a massive movement, or having unlimited resources. Yet history reminds us that many of the greatest transformations began with one person making one courageous choice. Anne Frank changed the world with her words. Mother Teresa changed the world one person at a time. Jesus changed the world through love, compassion, and the willingness to serve.

Each of us has been given unique gifts that no one else can offer in exactly the same way. Your kindness, your creativity, your wisdom, your laughter, your compassion—these are sacred gifts meant to be shared, not stored away waiting for the "right" moment. Perhaps you've been carrying an idea for years. Maybe you've wanted to start a nonprofit, write your memoir, mentor a child, plant a garden, call an estranged family member, or simply become more intentional about spreading joy wherever you go. Why wait? The world doesn't need perfection. It needs people who are willing to begin. Imagine what could happen if each of us decided that today was the day we would stop postponing the good we are capable of doing. Imagine the collective wave of compassion that would spread across neighborhoods, communities, and nations if we simply acted on the loving inspirations that arise within us.

Dear Angels, how do we know when it is time to stop waiting and begin?

Dear Ones, the answer is almost always now. Fear says, "Wait until you are ready." Love says, "Take the next step." Do not concern yourselves with seeing the entire path. You were never meant to. Your soul receives enough light for the step directly before you. Walk in faith, and the next step will appear.

The world changes every time someone chooses love instead of fear, generosity instead of hesitation, forgiveness instead of resentment, and action instead of procrastination. Trust the nudges we place within your heart. They are invitations from the Divine. Every act of kindness, every prayer, every smile, every encouraging word creates ripples that extend far beyond what your human eyes can see.

Do not wait for the perfect moment. The moment is already here.
