PEACEKEEPERS OF THE NEW DAWN: When The Sky Feels Empty

“Doubt is a question mark; faith is an exclamation point. The most compelling, believable, realistic stories have included them both.”  ― Criss Jami

As I sit in quiet reflection, I find it interesting that two people can share the same experience and yet see it through completely different eyes. One finds hope; another finds despair. One clings to doubt, while the other stands firmly in faith. I’ve often asked the angels, “Why are we so divided? Why do we, as a human family, struggle so much to live in peace?” Their response always carries a vibration of loving patience. They remind me that Earth has long been a school of contrasts — light and dark, faith and fear, question marks and exclamation points. Even when I looked back through history, I found that out of the last 3,400 years, humanity has only known about 268 years without war. That is merely 8% of recorded history. It’s astonishing, isn’t it? And yet, here we are — souls still yearning for peace, still learning how to create it from within. As a peacemaker, I hold hope that this story can change. But I also know how easy it is to slip into doubt when I look at the world’s chaos and confusion. It takes conscious intention to remain in the frequency of faith — to remember that peace begins not in policy or politics, but in the stillness of the heart. That is why I choose not to enter the battlefield of opinions. Instead, I hold space. I lift my vibration to the frequency of love and allow it to radiate outward like ripples on a calm pond. I may not have all the answers, but I have faith — and faith is the exclamation point that punctuates every prayer I send into the heavens. There’s a quote I once read by Sylvia Plath that struck my heart deeply: “I talk to God but the sky is empty.” How many of us have felt that way? We send our prayers upward, longing for a sign, a whisper, a confirmation — and all we hear is silence. Yet that silence is not absence; it is invitation. It calls us deeper into trust, to look not to the sky but within the heart, where God has always lived. The sky only seems empty when we forget that we are the reflection of its vastness.

Dear Angels, how can we continue to hold faith when the world seems to thrive on division and doubt? How can I feel into the strength of being connected to other lightworkers who are shining light into the darkness so that I do not feel so alone?

Dear Ones, faith is not the absence of doubt; it is the light that shines through it. You are not here to erase the darkness but to illuminate it. Every time you choose compassion over criticism, stillness over reaction, and prayer over panic, you strengthen the collective light of humanity. Be the calm in the storm, the steady heart that beats love into chaos. Your silent presence of peace does more for the healing of the world than any argument ever could. Remember, doubt may ask its questions, but faith always answers — with love. Remember that when you turn on a flashlight in a dark room, it illuminates the entire room – not just a portion of it. When you start to feel alone in your quest for more light to enter the world, remember that others are shining their lights along with you. Keep believing in miracles and hold onto the belief that you are making a difference that will be seen as more light infiltrates the darkness. When the sky feels empty, it is because you are being asked to fill it — with your faith, your light, your love. God has never left; the silence you hear is the echo of your own awakening. Each act of kindness, each moment of stillness, each breath of peace you offer sends ripples through creation. The world does not change through noise but through resonance. Keep your heart open, and you will realize the sky has always been full — of angels, of grace, of the whisper of eternity.

Angels Whisper:  When you feel the sky is empty, look within — for that is where Heaven speaks. Faith is not found in the answer, but in the quiet certainty that Love is always listening.

Today, I promise to keep my light on.
