FULL MOON, FULL HEART

“The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.” H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
There are moments when a simple sentence opens a doorway to profound truth. Recently, I heard these words: You cannot receive a present blessing while living mentally in a past experience. And I felt the depth of that truth ripple through my being. Each new day arrives as a sacred gift—fresh, unmarked, filled with possibility. Yet how often do we carry yesterday into today? We replay conversations, relive wounds, rehearse disappointments. It is like stepping out of a cleansing shower and immediately rolling in the dirt. The cleansing was real… but so is the choice that follows.
I can hear the voices, because I have been one of them:
“I deserve to feel this way.”
“I have every right to be angry… sad… disappointed.”
And yes, dear heart, that is true. We are meant to feel. Emotions are sacred messengers. They arrive to be acknowledged, honored, and understood. But they are not meant to become permanent residents within us. There is a difference between feeling an emotion and feeding it. One brings awareness; the other creates attachment. When we hold tightly to past pain, we unknowingly anchor ourselves to a lower vibration—a frequency that keeps us tethered to what was instead of opening to what is. And in that holding, we block the very blessings that are trying to reach us. Letting go is not about denying what happened. It is not about pretending something did not matter. It is about freeing your soul from carrying what no longer serves your highest good.
Right now, we are gifted with the powerful energy of the full moon—a natural invitation to release. To surrender. To clear space within ourselves for new light to enter. This is a moment to gently turn inward and ask:
Who do I choose to be moving forward?
What am I ready to lay down?
What truth is waiting to be revealed once I release the weight I’ve been carrying?
This is your preparation for tomorrow—not by striving harder, but by becoming lighter.
Dear Angels, why is it so important to examine what we are holding onto that keeps us in a lower vibration? How do we do this without feeling as though we are giving in or giving up?
Dear Ones, we invite you to see clearly that holding on is not strength—it is resistance. And resistance creates density within your energy field that limits your ability to receive the very blessings you seek. When you examine what you are holding, you are not reopening wounds to suffer them again. You are bringing light to what has been hidden in shadow. Awareness is the bridge to transformation. To release is not to give up—it is to rise up. You are not surrendering your power; you are reclaiming it. For when you cling to past hurt, you give that moment authority over your present. But when you release it, you declare, “This no longer defines me.”
Approach this process with compassion, not judgment. Sit with what arises and ask gently “What did this teach me?” and “What part of me is ready to be freed?” Then, breathe deeply and imagine placing that burden into our hands. We will transmute it with love. You are not losing anything of value. You are making space for truth, for peace, for joy. This is how you prepare for tomorrow—by choosing freedom today.
Angels Whisper: Let go, not because it didn’t matter… but because you matter more. In releasing the weight of yesterday, you give your soul permission to rise into the light of today.
Today, I promise to release everything that no longer serves me to hold on to.
