CREATING WITH THE ANGELS

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." — Thomas A. Edison
For four years now I have published a book each year that is a compilation of angel messages channeled nightly. I have developed a routine of organizing the messages to make it easier to transfer it to the book template. After doing this for a few years, my expectation was that this one should be a breeze. Well, the angels had a different plan this year. They wanted the book divided into parts and organized the messages into their respective part based on content. Okay, I have learned at this point to just say yes because arguing with them is to no avail. With that task complete and the manuscript complete along with the cover – which had changed four times – the book was submitted. First attempt was rejected immediately. Format issues, they say. Back to the drawing board. Each subsequent try was met with what I call failure to launch. Either it was wrong format, blank pages appearing like a gopher popping it head up out of nowhere, or other reasons that it would not go through. I was ready to throw my arms up in defeat, something I never do, when a friend called me. I was able to vent to her and she heard the frustration and irritation in my voice. She insisted that I put it aside and go to sleep, assuring me that she was going to go into prayer and lift me and the book up. After a brief rest, I decided to put it through again because, well I am just that stubborn. I had not changed anything at that point. It went through without a hitch – both cover and manuscript.
Dear Angels, when we are not able to see clearly the way to plow forward because of one thing that keeps us stuck, what is the best thing to do? I know my friend was led by you to speak to me in Divine time and lovingly insist that I step away from the project.
Dear Ones, indeed we are vigilant at all moments and especially when we see the overwhelm that can happen when things do not go as expected. You did nothing wrong, yet you were upset with yourself for making decisions that led to having to redo the structure of the book. It is almost as if you forgot to lean on us. You were trying to accomplish it on your own and it wasn’t until you were worn down that you yelled out as if in pain from the experience. This is a pattern we see in your world day after day. It is similar to the toddler who discovers that they can put the spoon in their own mouth so wants the independence to do so. It will be messy for a bit until coordination kicks in, but they are reluctant to ask for guidance. You can also look at it as having an assistant who can type your correspondence but you “don’t want to bother her” so you type it yourself. Dear Ones, you are never a bother for us. We want to help. We want you to succeed. We can open doors that appear locked shut. Ask yourself why you are so reluctant to accept help. The insight you gain through introspection will be invaluable in making further choices. The wise King Solomon wrote, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” This applies to all areas of your life. Allow God to ease your burdens and deeply instead of perceiving failure. There is no failure – there are only lessons to be learned.
Angels Whisper: Accepting help is one way to feel your wings lifting you higher. Soar, Dear Ones, and rise above ego thoughts as you collaborate with us on the important things of life.
Today, I promise to loosen my grip on things and allow grace to carry me forward.
