Unsolved Mysteries Of Life

I have become very fond of Colorado. The Rocky mountain range stretches from British Columbia to New Mexico, a distance of over 3000 miles! Here in Colorado, it is hard to miss the towering mountains that sometimes get swallowed by the clouds. Being in nature has a way of making one appreciate life in all its aspects. I visited with a friend today and while sitting with her saw a magpie bird within a few feet of where we were sitting. They are truly a magnificent looking bird that I only discovered on my first trip to Colorado. This friend is one whose home was within a few yards of the fires that consumed over 1000 homes last December. As I sat there, I could see for myself the gratitude that came from her and it seemed all of nature, including the birds and animals, was expressing it as well.
Dear Angels, I know we cannot comprehend things such as why one home was destroyed and the next untouched when a fire rages. We cannot explain how one house is left standing untouched when others are destroyed by a tornado. I have stood here in this area with one who lost everything and another who was spared the devastation. Neither can comprehend their fate and both are moving forward day by day in their own way with a new perspective on life.
Dear Ones, some mysteries of life remain just that, a mystery. While not everything has an easy explanation certainly there is a lot that is not uncovered. There is no one size fits all with your human experience. Each one of you has your own unique lesson and blessing and you cannot compare it to another’s experience. Stay in the knowingness of who you are and focus on your own path and how to move forward from your struggles in life. Help each other move to a level of understanding regarding the experience, not the comparison to another’s outcome. There will always be contrast and trauma. How you handle your situation is what is important. It will help you develop a greater empathy and ability to be stronger in your future challenges.
