Selling Goats - What??

I have been doing a lot of research lately as the angels have me very busy preparing for certain things that will take place this year. Today was a busy day with lots of multitasking and looking for certain things that I wanted to include in my classes and workshops. As I was pulled in different directions, I opened my email and saw a question from someone I hear from a lot. I quickly scanned the first line which read “Do you need help selling goats?” Well, that’s what my brain read anyway. It pulled me out of my distracted state because I couldn’t imagine this person sending me a message about selling goats. I cleared my thoughts and re-read the message. Now, it read “Do you need help setting goals?” Aha! Mystery solved and lesson learned! With too many irons in the fire, one iron is bound to not get the attention needed to understand what is happening with it. How many times in life do we do that? We hear or see a message and we are so preoccupied with other things, we don’t get the message at all but a distorted version of it.
My friend Karen says F-o-c-u-s is “Follow one course until successful.” I love this quote from Robin Sharma: “Less distraction, more focus. Less gossip, more encouragement. Less past, more future. Less toxicity, more positivity.” There is so much in the world to cause a distraction that it is a wonder we can follow one course until successful. We go down the rabbit hole or follow the cute squirrel and our thoughts become scattered.
Dear Angels, how can we maintain our focus on the important things we came here to do and learn for our soul growth?
Dear Ones, as your world becomes more advanced with technology and opportunities abound, your ability to focus on one thing at a time diminishes. Many successful people pride themselves on being able to multitask. This, however, is not always a great asset as you can see by Teri’s example. The more distracted you become, the more distorted the messages coming in. Do you want important messages from Spirit to get twisted in this way? What if you are receiving direction and you misread it or hear it incorrectly and you go against what you are being guided to do? This, Dear Ones, has been happening more and more. The messages are very clear and concise. Your distracted state of mind as you are supposedly tuning in creates a breakdown in communication. We encourage you to come to your meditation time and sit with focused intent. Let all else that surrounds you fall to the background. Do not try to send it away as you cannot, simply allow it to soften in your awareness. Your thoughts will be there always. Which thoughts do you listen to? The ones who are not pulling you aside? There will be plenty of that! Pay attention to the time of day you meditate/pray. Is your stomach gurgling with hunger and you cannot pay attention to your message? Is it late at night and you are falling asleep from exhaustion? You have choices always, so make the ones that will be of most benefit to avoid selling goats.
Dear Angels, I understand this message very well and can so relate. I will pay closer attention to my physical and mental state when I go into meditation. I want to always hear your messages very clearly. Thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
