“You gotta walk that lonesome valley,
You gotta walk it by yourself,
Nobody here can walk it for you,
You gotta walk it by yourself.” Woody Guthrie
I remember hearing this song years ago and thinking “well, that sucks.” After all, I volunteered to come here alone and be in this human body on this planet without an instruction manual and go through all the experiences I encountered along the way just to be booted out all alone. I can imagine the person writing the song was thinking of his own mortality when he wrote it. Years later, I can now listen to the words and have a new perspective on them. Yes, we do choose to come to the 3D world for the experiences and soul growth. We have to come alone, although some bring a twin or even more siblings along for the ride. Ultimately though, each of us has to go through the birthing process by ourselves, the indoctrination into the 3D way of doing things (without our wings), and experience what we came here for. Today was my mom’s human birthday. She chose a very hard life for herself. As one of her 13 children, it was difficult to get attention from her unless we did something wrong. Our physical needs were met but, like her, our emotional needs were not. I understood from a young age that I had to walk this earth by myself. It only made me stronger in the end and kept me grounded in who I was as spirit and drew me even closer to the angels. I came to understand that she did the best she could with what resources she had. I see now that it is through the really tough experiences that we grow the most. I also understand that when all is said and done and we are ready to walk away from this human existence, we have to do it by ourselves. Unlike the writer of the song, however, I know I will not be alone. I know with certainty that the angels I have been connected with my entire life will be right beside me, guiding me all the way. It is that way for all of us.
Dear Angels, I am so grateful that I have spent a lifetime walking in your loving guidance. I know that everyone has the same access to you and that we will all be escorted by you when we are ready to walk that final walk. What can you tell us about this?
Dear Ones, your return to the light after having experienced the human existence is quite a joyous occasion. It is an experience that no one can do for you. As you mentioned, you will be aware of our angelic presence ushering you toward the light and staying with you all the way. There is nothing to fear, Dear Ones. We encourage you to live every moment with love in your heart and joy in your life. You will take the love and the joy with you as you enter the light, so make the most of every experience. You are not “losing” anyone that you are connected to in your human existence nor are they losing you. Everyone is connected in the collective oneness of energy. You will not forget the life you lived or the loved ones you encountered along the way.
Dear Angels, thank you for this assurance. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to live each moment to the fullest, to stay centered in who I am and live a life full of love and joy.
