Illusions

We were having a discussion earlier about how our animals perceive time. Studies have been done and no one can know for sure but it seems that any time of separation to them is like a lifetime. They just want to love and to feel that love in return. Many times it is like that for us humans as well. If we do not sit and stare at the clock we can just be in the moment and time becomes a no-thing. Just as our precious animals, it becomes distorted and we can only focus on what is before our eyes, not what was or what could come forward. Staying present in the now really brings home the knowing that time is truly an illusion. When we experience a loss in life, it also makes us stop and realize just how important it is to stay in the present moment during life. Don’t rush the time along. Don’t wish for “tomorrow” to get here because it might not and then we have wasted the time we had in the present. If you haven’t told a friend lately that you love them, do it now. We are, as the angels say, only here or a minute. What are you doing with your minute?
Dear Angels, thank you for your reminders to stay focused on the now. What an important lesson to learn. How silly are we to expect that we will wake up in the morning and everything will be the same and be waiting there for us? We pay attention when the storms or fires rage, but otherwise we don’t give a thought to the fact that a loved one may not be there when we finally have “time” for them.
Dear Ones, the best way you can honor each other is to just be in each moment. Lose your expectations that a loved one will change to be your idea of perfection and love them anyway. Stop trying to convince those in your life that they should be or act a certain way, just love them anyway. Quit looking in the mirror at your flaws and wanting them to look different, simply love every bit of your being no matter what. Until you can get into acceptance of yourself and others in your life, you will not find peace. The peace and contentment you are searching for is buried underneath all the demands you place on yourself and your loved ones, neighbors, coworkers. Let go of the reins, Dear Ones. They do not belong to you! They are the result of old tapes playing in your head and you can choose to not listen to them anymore. In any given moment, you can have a clean slate to create your life the way you want it to be without all the demands and limitations. What is standing in your way of doing this? Fear. Remember that only love is real. Maybe today is the day that you will face the monster and know that it is not real at all. Maybe today is the day that you will stand in your divine authority and allow yourself to be free of all the things you have created in your mind and in your life that tethers you down and doesn’t let you fly. Fly, sweet earth angels, fly. We want to hear the flutter of your wings!
