Awakeners
“I am not a teacher, but an awakener.” ― Robert Frost
To awaken someone means to “make someone aware of (something) for the first time.” A teacher is an instructor, someone who enlightens others by means of instruction. I was not a teacher by profession in this lifetime, yet I have had many students over the years. I can resonate more with the definition of an awakener in my life. I love the feeling of observing when someone finds newness in their life journey. I love seeing others experience things for the first time. It brings me joy to see the world through the lens of other’s excitement. If I can open that awareness to others, I feel fulfilled.
Dear Angels, I have heard that to truly understand something we should teach it. This has held true for me through the years. I love sharing information and stories with others and it brings things into perspective when I do so. Jesus taught by example and by stories as well. How can we learn to be more like Christ in our lives?
Dear Ones, there have been scholars of Christ’s life since he walked the earth. To fully understand him, you need to understand yourself. If you are not open to learning, you will block the knowledge subconsciously. Go into your heart and connect with your mind and then to your higher self. In that state of awareness, you will be teachable. Dear Ones, you have all the knowledge inside of you. The teaching is more of an awareness, an awakening inside of you of what you already know. Once it is revealed, you can then share it out with the world. Knowledge is never for just one or a few but for all as there is no separation. Jesus never hid his teachings and thus was the greatest example for us to follow his lead. Go forth into the world confidently and shine your light.
