Attending Class

“And in the end it's not the years in your life that count; it's the life in your years.” —Edward J. Stieglitz

Some people walk through life like they are walking through the halls at school but never entering the classroom. The education is there, readily available and even inviting all to enter; yet, many choose to ignore the lessons offered. Today I met with a group of ladies who are embracing growing older with finesse and grace. They entered the classrooms and in fact some of them actually taught in those classrooms. They know what it means to learn lessons. We can learn so much from our elders who took the time to embrace life and not just gloss over the important things that come our way.

Dear Angels, when we walk the earth plane and encounter the hard lessons that life hands us, how can we handle them and receive the best possible outcome?

Dear Ones, you came here for such a time as this. You knew going into your human experience that it was not going to be a piece of cake. You understood that there would be trials, there would be tribulations and tests and you understood that you have to find your way as a being of light to make it through all those experiences. There is no skipping class. You can try to ignore the lessons, bury your head and pretend it doesn’t exist or try running away from the situations or people. The lesson will still exist for you to partake of it and if that does not happen in this current lifetime, it will come up at some point in time-space continuum. Why would you want to repeat a class? Revisit what has shown up for you in this lifetime. What are some of the patterns you notice? Is there something that makes you so uncomfortable that you cannot look at it? When you can acknowledge the lesson and move forward in faith, then you will emerge victorious over your fears. Every lesson contains some element of the unknown and thus can be frightening to you until you release the story that there has to be a winner and a loser. In finding your way through the murk and mud and allowing yourself to grow through the experience, you release the power of being held back due to fear. You become the best version of yourself ready to enter the next classroom.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to do all my homework and participate in the lessons of life.
